Philip Andre “Mickey” Rourke, Jr. is an American actor born on September 16, 1952 in Schenectady, New York. He appears as a leading man in action, drama, and thriller movies. Trained as a boxer in his early years, he was a professional boxer in the 1990s. Rourke, Jr. won a 2009 Golden Globe and a BAFTA awards. He was also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and an Academy Award for his work in the film The Wrestler.
