William Franklin ”Billy” Graham, Jr. is born on November 7, 1918, in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He  is an American evangelical Christian evangelist.

Dr. Graham has spent personal time with twelve U.S. Presidents from Harry S. Truman, and including Barack Obama, the incumbent American president (2011).

He is number #7 on Gallup’s list of admired people for the 20th century. A Southern Baptist, he rose to celebrity level as his sermons were broadcast on radio and television.
